Since I purged my portfolio of oil and gas stocks, the stocks I sold have gone up, while the ones I kept (half of HEC, TRLG, LIZ) have gone down.
So I have no doubt that, by now, no one is listening to my advice.
Today I got rid of more of my HEC. There are sill 20,000 shares in my IRA, but at the current low price of 0.40 that's worth bubkes.
The theory still remains that the global recession to be caused by the coming crash in real estate will cause the price of everything to go down.
Big Mike?! Come on man! Snap into a Slim Jim; guzzle a 40 ounce V8; do whatever is necessary to regain your mojo. I know this is a tough period for you but if you cant give us any good advice then take a "vac-A", relax, and try again when you get back. I always enjoy this blog more when Big Mike is high on the market and red bull. I miss that. What do you think of gold and silver inthe next 8 weeks? Also, big hurricane year possibly? October Natural gas options anyone? Several hedge fund managers made out nicely in '05 after Katrina ate Nola and 'em.
